USI’s engineers are experienced in all types and phases of water system services including transmission, storage, distribution, treatment and hydraulic modeling. USI is able to provide practical, cost–effective design solutions to existing and new water treatment systems by working with the client to discover the best possible design for their needs. We begin with master planning to quantify a variety of dynamics, including the demographics of the proposed service area as well as its topographic features. We also seek to identify development patterns, population projections, industrial and commercial growth forecasts, the existing economic base and the regulatory requirements. Once we obtain a comprehensive understanding of these factors, alternatives can be developed and comparisons made relative to initial costs, operation and maintenance costs and anticipated disruption to the public. Along with master planning and design, we also may provide bidding services, construction services, water rate studies, vulnerability assessments and emergency response plans, and services related to the management of projects being funded through the Revolving Loan Fund.
